Happy 3:16 Day! 

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” 

Today’s reading thought – – 

Heavenly Father and Jesus just want to help me have a successful life, yet sometimes it’s easy to be stubborn and insist on doing everything my own way. Like I know better than God? What’s with that? 

“Thanks for the advice, God. I’ll think about it.” For. Real. 

I mean, here are Heavenly Father and Jesus, the creators and rulers of the universe, who love me immeasurably, and whose whole purpose is to lead me to immortality and eternal life, and sometimes I get all dismissive with their counsel and act like I know better. Got pride much?
