What’s it called when you eliminate perfectly healthy babies because they were born to a poor urban family or because the baby is the “wrong” gender? How about Murder? Abortion? Eugenics? Immoral? Just Plain Wrong?

There’s a problem if we think that China will treat its own people this way but treat other people/countries of the world in a moral, ethical manner. Think about that when you read the news article below:

China will stick to its national family planning policy, but improve its policies in aspects like reproduction, migration and gender equality to achieve a more balanced and sustainable population development, a senior official has said.

“A comprehensive plan will be formulated to realize a healthy population growth, improve levels of government competence, optimise population structure and guide rational population distribution,” the China Daily quoted Li Bin, Director of the National Population and Family Planning Commission, as saying.
