Potluck in an International Branch is REALLY Potluck

We attended a farewell potluck dinner today for a Korean family that is moving out of our branch, back to Korea. There was fried rice, pot-stickers, plain rice, steamed green vegetables, spicy steamed cucumbers, an interesting dish with sliced carrots and hot dog-type sausage, sauted chicken, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, ham and cheese sandwiches, a creamy soup, manto (Chinese steamed buns), no-bake chocolate cookies, plus other things I can’t remember.  It made for an interesting combination of foods.  Our LDS branch has members from all over the world and it keeps things very interesting.
