Missed the Bus

Well, we missed the school bus this morning.  Couldn’t find the right place to catch
it.  Hopefully, that will all be cleared
up with the kids’ ride home on the bus.  
We had to call a driver to take them to school instead.  At least it is the same driver who took us to
the school yesterday.  He is fast-ish and
pretty safe by Chinese standards.  His
general driving philosophy seems to be: take as much room for yourself on the
road as you can, use your horn plenty to let people know you are there, and
don’t dally around.  Now I sit here and
stew.  I wonder how their day is
going?  Were they horribly late?  Will they like their classes?

I guess I’ll get back to the cleaning.
