These people in Alma 23 were a bloodthirsty and violent people, but when they heard the truth taught, they made a complete change and buried all of their weapons so deeply that they couldn’t be tempted to use them again. 

I’m pondering what might be MY weapons of rebellion against God. 

Busyness, procrastination, not getting enough sleep or exercise? Hmm. Some things to consider. Now might be a good time for me to pick one and work on improving. 

Alma 23:7 

“7 For they became a righteous people; they did lay down the weapons of their rebellion, that they did not fight against God any more, neither against any of their brethren.”
