My family used to have a dog named Amos 3:7. We just called him Amos, though. He wouldn’t do much you told him to, but he could certainly keep all your secrets.
I’m grateful that a 14 year-old boy gathered the courage to ask God for help with his own confusion when he needed wisdom. I know God hears and answers our prayers when we ask in faith.

I love this little statue because I think it shows the loving and united relationship between God the Father, and His son, Jesus Christ, and how much they truly care about how we are doing in our efforts to draw near unto them. They may not appear face-to-face with us when we pray, but they will hear and answer the questions of our hearts when we listen. I know this, because they have lifted me, comforted me, and helped me find the answers to my own questions through scripture and living prophets called to testify of them in our day, when I have prayed and listened with an open heart and mind.
