Brownie Recipe for Melissa and Everyone Else…

So Sorry, Melissa and others who may have posted comments over the summer! I didn’t see your comments until today. I guess the new WordPress format may have some good advantages! Rather than just post this in the comments section I just decided to blog it here.
Brownie Recipe
First grease and flour a 9×13 inch pan. This step is very important!
Then:
Melt 1 cup of butter (2 sticks in the U.S.) and
8 Tablespoons of cocoa powder
Then remove it from the heat and add
2 cups sugar
4 eggs and
1 tsp vanilla
Mix it up well and then get your muscles out and stir in
2 cups of flour (if you like them extra fudgy, only add 1 1/2 cups flour)
If you want to add some nuts, now is the time (about 1 cup)
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 to 25 minutes.
If you frost them while they are still warm, then the frosting kind of melts into the brownies and enhances the gooeyness and then forms a protective anti-dry-out coating on the top. YUM!
winner-winner, chicken dinner 🙂
