Flying – Where Did The Day Go?

Holy Lands Tour Day 2 – Arrive in Tel Aviv Late at Night – Bus ride to Jerusalem

It’s been a long day in the air. The flights and connections have all gone well. I chose to fast, drinking water only for this journey, and for the first time ever, I have not had a struggle with sinus pressure or ear pain. Also, I was able to sleep on the long flight! Miracles happen. Part of my ability to sleep may have been because I was using a Trtl neck pillow (just Google it if you are curious). I only used music for a short couple of hours on the long flight and I still managed to sleep for several hours. What a relief! The flight feels much shorter when you can sleep for at least some of it. At any rate, I am now a big fan of fasting when flying.

I did some reading on one of the flights, but I kept dozing off, so I have little to comment on now

66 Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments. Psalm 119:66

105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psalm 119:105

114 Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word. Psalm 119:114
