I just love the colors here! The orange and pink sunset over the greens and blues of the water – it’s just marvelous the way every place has its own unique colors and beauty. Recovery is going well. More details on that soon. ❤️

​I just can’t even imagine the level of sorrow that Nephi, a prophet, must have felt at seeing the prideful and deliberate rebellion of his beloved people against God. How can one man’s heart bear such a burden? It must overshadow all other trials. 

I have to ask myself, though. How often do I deny the evidence God gives me, whether it’s a prompting to do something, or a simple and stubborn refusal to bend my will to His and forsake a favorite sin? 

Helaman 8:24 “And now, seeing ye know these things and cannot deny them except ye shall lie, therefore in this ye have sinned, for ye have rejected all these things, notwithstanding so many evidences which ye have received; yea, even ye have received all things, both things in heaven, and all things which are in the earth, as a witness that they are true.”
