Storms on the desert can be so sudden and dramatic. 

Amalickiah was so stinking sneaky. 

I wonder how many ways I ingest “poison by degrees”? 

Poison like – 

“This little thing won’t hurt…”

“You would be happier if you were thinner…” 

“People would like you more if you wore better clothes.” 

“It doesn’t matter what clothes you wear. If you’ve got it flaunt it.” 

“It won’t hurt if you skip your personal devotional time today. “

“17 Now it was the custom among the Lamanites, if their chief leader was killed, to appoint the second leader to be their chief leader. 18 And it came to pass that Amalickiah caused that one of his servants should administer poison by degrees to Lehonti, that he died. 19 Now, when Lehonti was dead, the Lamanites appointed Amalickiah to be their leader and their chief commander.”
