Sometimes You Can’t Do It All Yourself –  Jesus Fed The Hungry #lighttheworld

I’m sick with a cold  today. Nothing major except that my nose feels like it is going to run off my face, and I’m pretty sure my throat has been experimented on by ferocious aliens. I’m trying to disregard the cough. If I pretend hard enough that it doesn’t exist, maybe it will go away.

Listen to me, being a baby.
Anyway, today’s #lighttheworld theme was,  Jesus fed the hungry and so can you. I chose today to focus on gratitude (in spite of the above whining), because I was in no way capable of fixing dinner tonight. Meigi stepped in and made us all some soup and this amazing cheese bread. Mama mia, I have got to try that stuff again when my taste buds aren’t all messed up by a stuffy nose. I’m so grateful for help and food when I’m sick.

John 6:35

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
