Ten minute blog post #1

I’m trying something new to see how it works. Normally when I post a blog, it’s the product of an hour-and-a-half to three hours. This is a lot of time for me, and generally doesn’t leave me time for a bunch of other stuff I need or want to get done. So, I’m going to see if I can do a ten minute blog each day. I’ll write about something – it may be pretty random – for ten minutes. I will use a timer and stop when the ten minutes are up. Will it work? I have no idea, but it’s got to be better than going an entire ten months without posting anything at all, right?

I have a daughter, Rainbow, who has a baby due ANY MINUTE NOW. As far as she’s concerned this little boy is just being a tease right now. For goodness sake, Chili Pepper, come on! Oops, he may have just been nick-named. Well, I’ll decide after he shows up.

In the middle of this, the move to a new house is coming along, I hope. It seems like the packing will never end, but I’m getting to where I can finally see real progress. Good thing, since the garage is filling up with boxes. I hope we can super-load the truck on Saturday. The goal is to get as much as we can moved in one trip, at least of the big, heavy stuff. This could be tricky, but people are so kind to help us, we don’t want to hog their entire day. We’re gonna need a big truck.
