“What if Your blessings come through raindrops?
What if Your healing comes through tears?
What if a thousand sleepless nights
Are what it takes to know You’re near?
What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise?”
This is a beautiful song I heard the other day. It really made me stop and think. Then I saw this posted on Mr. T’s Facebook page:
”For a small moment have I forsaken thee,
but with great mercies will I gather thee.
In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment,
but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee…
For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but my kindness shall not depart from thee.” 3rd Nephi 23:7-10 (oops, that should be 3 Nephi 22:7-10), from the Book of Mormon.
What if all the things we see as horrible or ugly in our lives are really gifts that bring us closer to God and make us better people?
Take a listen. The song is called, “Blessings” by Laura Story.
The story behind this song is worth listening to also.
Awesome attitudes, beautiful song!
Thank you!

I love this! I also really liked the scripture, so much, that I wanted to go mark it in my own scriptures, but alas, I couldn’t find it with the reference 3 Nephi 23, apparently it is 3rd Nephi 22: 7-10….. just in case someone else wants to find it😊. Thank you for your inspiration that I needed at 2:30 in the morning. Well, your inspiration, helped me recieve my own.

I’m glad my words could help you. And thank you for the correction. I’ll be sure and fix that.
