It appears that I am not going to be able to blog about my Humen trip until next week. I forgot I’ll be traveling this weekend and I do not think I’ll have internet service. Also, I am slipping a bit behind on my book and need to focus on that for a day or two and get caught back up.
My challenge is that I see so many things to write about, I feel a little ADD sometimes. It’s going to be a tough weekend for me in that aspect.
Today I took a new friend to Beijing Lu Pedestrian Street (Changang Station, Exit D or F, Exit E works too but it’s easy to get a little lost in the subway shopping mall). It’s a fun place to shop, if you are a shopping fiend, which I am not, but I’ve had so many people help me find my way around here in China that I really want to pass the favor along to others. The clock is ticking for me here, so when I met this lady last week, I just really wanted to help her make a successful adjustment to this place. Anyway, we had a nice time, and she has learned how to manage the metro system now. Too bad the journey there is so long for us. It takes about 1 1/2 hours to get there, so by the time you get home, you just want to sit down.
winner-winner, chicken dinner 🙂
I am so happy to read this. This is the kind of info that needs to be given and not the random misinformation that is at the other blogs. Appreciate your sharing this beneficial content.
