Some Random Photos from China with Brief Explanations
Update: I think I have the photos fixed and captions showing. If at first you don’t succeed try, try, again. and again. and again. and AGAIN. argh. Please appreciate these, the price was dear, and I’m not talking about the taco salad. 😉
Here is an assortment of photos not necessarily related to one another, but kind of a cultural “gee-whiz” effect happens when they are all together. I hope the captions come through. I seem to be photographically challenged at the moment.

A public bathroom. Makes you want to ration the amount of water you drink doesn’t it?
Taco salad (cost in U.S. dollars): $5 veggies, $4 meat (not shown), $6 salsa, $7 cheddar cheese, $12 for 2 bags tortilla chips ($6 each), $10 for 1 liter homemade sour cream. Eating like an American in China is expensive!
A couscous style salad made with millet (a small grain) and lots of veggies. Yum! and CHEAP.
