The Weather has Turned Cold, We Have to Go Home Early

The weather here in Guangzhou has suddenly turned “cold”. We went from 84 degrees Fahrenheit last week to 75 degrees this week. The Chinese here are wearing long sleeves, and sweaters and putting hats on the babies. They shiver as they hurry from the bus stop to the store or their houses.

I’m in heaven. To me this is perfect weather. I could do without so much wind, but I’m not really complaining about that either, since I like the way it blows away the pollution (sorry for whomever it lands on).

Mr. Hot Stuff came home about a half-hour early from work today. He said his co-worker who shares his ride home came to him and said, “The weather has turned cold, we have to go home early today.” What can I say? Welcome to China.

winner-winner, chicken dinner 🙂
